Sportradar Strengthens Ties with UEFA
Sportradar Group has expanded its partnership with UEFA, now encompassing all UEFA club and international tournaments, including the Men’s and Women’s Champions League, the 2026 FIFA World Cup, and UEFA Euro 2028.
This enhancement of their previous exclusive betting data rights agreement now includes non-exclusive rights to provide data to non-betting media. The expanded deal also grants Sportradar advanced tracking access, which the group plans to use to bolster its AI offerings for clients.
Carsten Koerl, Sportradar CEO, expressed his excitement:
“We are thrilled to expand our partnership with UEFA, offering our clients and soccer fans worldwide unparalleled engagement and value through cutting-edge solutions and comprehensive data coverage. This agreement supports our strategic focus on selectively investing in long-term rights across key global sports, enabling ongoing innovation and enhancement of our offerings.”
Additionally, Sportradar will present technological solutions for effective gambling regulation at the 2025 Regulating the Game conference in Sydney.
On UEFA’s side, the new arrangements extend the existing 15-year integrity partnership to include enhanced investigation and intelligence resources for match-fixing prevention services. Guy-Laurent Epstein, UEFA Marketing Director, remarked:
“Three years ago, we embarked on a journey with Sportradar to tap into the value of match data for betting purposes. Sportradar brings a wealth of experience in this field, and we are delighted to continue this successful partnership for the next three years.”
